Our Story

Hi I’m Catherine - owner of Seraphim Bridal! I opened the doors to my bridal shop six years ago and what an amazing six years it has been.

My story begins just over 24 years ago when my twin daughters were born. Delivered at just 26 weeks, doctors were not hopeful about the chances of both my daughters surviving. Overcoming the odds, my lovely daughters are healthy and living great lives today! In such an uncertain and scary time, I truly believe guardian angels looked after my girls. Seraphim is the name given to the highest form of angels and hence why I called my bridal shop Seraphim Bridal.

As our blessing to our gorgeous brides, we sew a small pair of angel wings into the inside of our bride’s wedding dress as a symbol of love, guidance and protection as they begin their new life with their other half. As I say to all my children “take your angels with you”.

Having always loved fashion, design and embroidery, I followed my dreams and left my job in healthcare to create Seraphim Bridal. I’ve never looked back and it has been incredibly rewarding to help so many brides find a wedding dress that they are truly in love with.
